  Key Responsibilities for the AR Specialist / Project Accountant:
  • Review contracts and project documentation to ensure accurate setup, billing requirements, and customer information.
    
    
  • Manage work orders, billing coordination, and project accounting activities while partnering closely with project managers and operations teams.
    
    
  • Prepare invoices, payment applications, lien waivers, and supporting billing documentation to ensure timely collections.
    
    
  • Monitor aging reports, follow up on outstanding receivables, and help resolve customer payment discrepancies.
    
    
  • Assist with project closeouts, audit support, reporting requests, and additional accounting-related projects as needed.
    
    
  Qualifications for the AR Specialist / Project Accountant:
  • 3+ years of accounting, accounts receivable, project billing, or related experience.
    
    
  • Experience with B2B collections and customer account management.
    
    
  • Strong Excel and communication skills with the ability to learn new ERP systems and accounting software.
