Contract Hospice RN - Appleton, WI

Contract Hospice RN for a 13‑week assignment in or near Appleton, Wisconsin. The role offers competitive compensation and benefits, and the chance to provide meaningful hospice care. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive hospice nursing care to adult patients in private homes, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living facilities within the region. Explain hospice care plans, educate patients and families on expectations, and manage symptoms related to end‑of‑life conditions such as pain and shortness of breath. Collaborate closely with physicians, case managers, and liaisons to coordinate admissions and ongoing patient care activities. Complete two patient admissions per shift, or conduct visits when admissions are not available, ensuring timely and compassionate service delivery. Utilize EPIC EMR system for charting, documentation, and secure communication, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and agency protocols.
