Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Nights Located within the healthcare setting, this position involves providing specialized nursing care to adult and geriatric patients within the scope of practice. The role requires flexibility to float across multiple Medical Surgical and Telemetry units at the facility.

Job Details

• Certifications required: California Registered Nurse (RN) License, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Education and experience: 0 years minimum experience required, with at least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional clinical skills and responsibilities include BiPAP/CPAP management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), ER Holding, Feeding tube care and management, Heparin Protocols, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV insulin protocols, Management of dysrhythmias, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Ortho trauma, Oxygen administration, PCA, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Pre/Post neurosurgery, Renal failure, Spinal cord injury, Starting and maintaining IVs, Surgical drains, Telemetry, Telemetry - remote monitoring, Titration of Insulin drips, Total joint replacement, Tracheostomy care/management, Traumatic Brain Injury, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Wound Care/Wound Vac.
• Additional considerations: Will float to multiple units within scope, with required experience in patient care and charting system usage (Epic).
• Submission requirements: Candidates must be eligible and prepared to complete onboarding, including labs within 3-5 days of contract signing, and provide 7-year work history verification.
