Key Qualifications:

• Active SLP credentials required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
• Experience working with AAC devices highly valued
• Demonstrated background in pediatric and school-based settings
• Capable of independently managing a varied K-8 caseload
• Commitment to collaboration and supporting individualized student needs
• Able to start as soon as possible and continue through end of school year

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary and middle school students
• Assess, develop, and implement IEPs and goal-oriented treatment plans
• Support and consult with teachers and staff to promote best communication practices
• Utilize AAC and alternative communication techniques, where appropriate
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school standards
• Engage families and caregivers as partners in students’ communication development
• Collaborate with a supportive team of educational professionals
