About This Role The Telehealth Nurse position at NYU Langone Health involves providing remote patient care with a focus on decision-making and collaboration within an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Highlights Location: Boynton Beach, FL Facility: NYU Langone Health Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift What You'll Do Review physicians' messages received from patients through the electronic medical record. Participate in regular debrief meetings with local sites to identify issues or opportunities for improvement. Document provider and patient interactions accurately and in a timely manner using electronic medical record systems. Provide telephonic patient education regarding results and understanding condition management. Assist providers in contacting patients regarding test results. Communicate effectively with local site pool, staff, or provider via telephone or electronic message. Determine proper handling or routing of non-urgent messages based on established guidelines. Assess messages for urgent situations or needs, and contact patients for further evaluation and referral.
