Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner

Job Title: Advance Practice Nurse
Location: Trenton, NJ 08628
Duration: 6 months to long-term
Shift: 8:30am 4:00 pm

Duties/Responsibilities: • Work in a forensic setting. In collaboration with the psychiatrist, the APN will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with severe mental illness who are involved in the judicial system. Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine a patient's symptom severity and risk for violence, review medical history, use diagnostic tools like the DSM-5, complete charting documentation as required by the facility, and prescribe and manage medications.

Required Documents:
