Forklift OperatorWood Personnel Services is seeking experienced Forklift Operators for leading manufacturing and distribution facilities in Nashville and the surrounding area. If you have recent forklift experience, a strong commitment to safety, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you. We are looking for dependable operators who take pride in working safely, efficiently, and accurately.Interested candidates must have:At least 6 months of forklift experience within the past 3 yearsForklift Operator Shift and Compensation:Up to $ 20.50 per hour1st, 2nd, 3rd and weekend shiftsShift and pay may vary depending on the client assignmentForklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities:Operating sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, cherry picker, order picker or electric pallet jack equipment (depending on assignment)Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficientlyMoving materials throughout the warehousePicking and staging ordersReceiving and storing inventorySupplying production or shipping areas with materialsPerforming routine equipment inspections before each shiftFollowing all OSHA and company safety guidelinesMaintaining a clean and organized work areaAssisting with general warehouse duties as neededSpecific equipment and responsibilities may vary depending on the client assignment.Forklift Operator Skills and Qualifications:At least 6 months of forklift experience within the past 3 yearsMust provide verifiable work reference confirming forklift experienceAbility to lift up to 50 pounds as neededAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shiftReliable transportation and dependable attendanceStrong attention to detailAbility to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environmentPreferred Equipment Experience:Experience operating any of the following equipment is a plus:Sit-Down ForkliftStand-Up ForkliftReach TruckCherry PickerOrder PickerElectric Pallet JackClamp TruckBenefits Offered By Wood Personnel:Weekly PayDirect Deposit or Payroll CardPaid VacationPaid HolidaysReferral BonusPerformance BonusMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife Insurance
