Pay The starting pay range for this position per hour is $20.50 - $22.50. The full pay range for this position per hour is $20.50 - $34.85. About Visual Merchandising The Visual Merchandiser supports a great guest experience by ensuring visual moments are set and maintained to company guides and visual standards to drive sales and inspire guests. They are experts in elevated merchandising techniques, mannequin styling, mapping, fixture blocking, and In‑Store Marketing (ISM) elements. Responsibilities Retail business fundamentals including department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing, and promotion strategies. Plan and communicate department(s) daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals. Train and develop team members to improve their visual merchandising acumen and skills. Lead the strategy of visual merchandising and visual standards implementation. Plan daily/weekly visual workload with leader guidance to include sales goals, events, and promotions. Execute weekly visual assessments and partner with leaders to improve store visual execution and guest experience. Assess and guide the execution of visual standards across the store to elevate visual presentations. Support the execution of the company visual merchandising strategy, visual standards, and ISM across all relevant areas of the store. Validate the execution of all visual presentations in partnership with leaders. Set overhead spotlights to highlight key merchandising presentations. Resolve merchandising issues and adjust sets to maintain inspiring presentations. Teach team visual standards, signing strategy, and how to create inspiring visual moments to drive sales. Maintain organization of back‑room space and keep current signing tools and fixtures up to date. Support team onboarding, continuous learning, and close knowledge and skill gaps through training and hands‑on experiences. Demonstrate inclusivity, authentic respect, and equitable experiences. Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance. Work safely at all times; comply with safety policies and report hazards. Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests during daily tasks. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least 1 to 2 years of visual merchandising experience. Must be at least 18 years of age or older. Business acumen and creativity to inspire guests and drive sales. Strong understanding of trend and style reflective of our brand. Ability to lead and influence store teams to follow visual merchandising processes. Proficiency in communicating via multiple devices and operating handheld scanners and other technology equipment. Work independently and as part of a team. Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently. Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members. Effective communication skills. Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes. Additional Requirements Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues. Operate Work Assist Vehicle (WAV) and pallet jack. Interpret instructions, reports, and information. Accurately handle cash register operations as needed. Climb up and down ladders as needed. Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including lifting up to 15 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 44 pounds without assistance. Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays; reliable and prompt attendance necessary. Remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
