Pay & Benefits
- Hourly Pay Rate: $185.25

What You'll Do
- Support cardiothoracic surgery teams with surgical procedures and intraoperative assistance.
- Manage 10-15 CVICU/step-down patients daily and assist with 1-2 surgeries per shift.
- Perform procedures such as temporary pacemaker removal, chest tube removal, and IABP removal.
- Assist with patient assessments, pre- and post-operative care, and documentation.
- Work closely with surgeons to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain accurate medical records.
- Participate in call shifts (3p-7a) and be prepared for emergency interventions.
What You Need
Required:
- AZ Physician Assistant license, DEA registration, ACLS and BLS certifications
- At least 3 years of cardiothoracic surgery experience with EVH proficiency
- Certification or certification eligibility from NCCPA
Preferred:
- Experience in adult cardiothoracic surgical settings
- Strong procedural skills in chest tube and pacemaker management
