Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and tailor personalized treatment plans that align with their goals. Engage in therapeutic sessions across various formats, including individual, couples, family, and group therapy, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic methodologies. Monitor client progress through regular evaluations and adjust treatment plans as necessary to enhance effectiveness and address any emerging issues. Lead support groups for parents and caregivers, particularly focusing on developmental challenges related to adoption and prenatal substance exposure, creating a nurturing environment. Maintain up-to-date clinical documentation that complies with regulatory standards and contributes to ongoing quality improvement initiatives within the clinic. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a diverse clientele, including adults, children, and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. Your role will involve addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, trauma, and family dynamics. By employing a personalized approach to therapy, you will help clients achieve significant improvements in their emotional and social functioning. Qualifications A valid and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of California. A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in providing therapeutic services in a clinical setting. Preferred Experience Experience working with diverse populations, including children and families involved in the foster care and adoption systems. Proficient in conducting both teletherapy and in-person therapy sessions, adapting as necessary to meet clients' needs. Familiarity with documentation standards and electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline patient management and compliance. Compensation and Benefits The compensation for this position ranges from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, reflective of your experience and expertise.
