Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our team. The ER RN will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring optimal care for both adult and pediatric patients.ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.Monitor and manage patients experiencing cardiac dysrhythmias and multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.Obtain and interpret 12 lead EKG/ECG.Administer continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation, ensuring proper monitoring.Implement isolation precautions and triage patients as necessary.Utilize Epic (Excellian) for charting and maintaining patient records.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.Float within scope to meet facility needs.QualificationsRegistered Nurse (RN) license.Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting preferred.Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC.Experience with cardiac monitoring and emergency response.Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage emergency situations.Previous charge experience is preferred.Must be willing to work up to 4 out of 6 weekends.Must be within 100 miles of the position location; locals are not accepted.Pending licenses may be accepted.Shift InformationThis position involves working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.Additional InformationThe ideal candidate will have experience working in a general emergency department that serves both adult and pediatric patients.
