Hybrid Healthcare Accounting Manager

Smaller healthcare facility looking to bring on Accounting Manager!
- Hybrid Schedule (In office M-W) and off on Thursday and Friday
- Reports to Controller
Responsible for applying GAAP standards to financial information and preparing accurate and timely financial reports and statements. Role primarily focuses on healthcare revenue cycle accounting, requiring a deep understanding of gross revenue, contractual discounts, denials, and bad debt.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent experience.
- MUST HAVE healthcare experience and also healthcare revenue accounting experience.
- CPA a plus.
- Understanding of GAAP.
- Knowledge of computer and Internet applications, accounting systems.
- Understanding of budget and reporting requirements.
- Strong emphasis on experience in healthcare revenue. AI experience with Claude for Excel or similar preferred.
