Compensation: $25.79 per hour plus $1.20 per hour shift differential for 3rd shift. Training hours worked on 1st shift will not include shift differential.Responsibilities:The role of a batch operator apprentice is to safely operate and control systems in weighing, metering, and mixing raw materials to make consistent batches while following batch sheets and quality standards to meet customer requirements.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent18 years of age or olderMust pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background checkChemical processing/batch experience strongly preferredCapabilities:Ability to lift at least 55 pounds on a regular basisStanding 50-100% of the timeMust be able to wear a respirator while performing this jobMust be able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including head, eye, ear and foot protection 90-100% of the timeShift: 3rd shift (11:00 pm – 7:30 am). Initial training will occur during 1st shift which is 7:00am - 3:15pm.
