GRC Analyst III at Expert Technology Services San Antonio, TX

Job Summary Serve as a senior-level analyst specializing in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) functions within a cybersecurity context. Lead and execute enterprise risk assessments, audit readiness initiatives, and control oversight activities. Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as NIST (800-53 / CSF), CJIS, HIPAA, and/or PCI-DSS. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security, IT, audit, legal, and business units, to drive risk management and compliance objectives. Act as an individual contributor, providing subject matter expertise without direct reports. Apply strong knowledge of security and compliance standards to support organizational objectives and mitigate risks. Maintain and update documentation related to risk assessments, controls, and compliance activities. Stay current with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging risks impacting the organization. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or related field (Master's preferred). 6–10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, risk management, compliance, or audit. Preferred Qualifications Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISA, CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT, CHPS, or PCI (ISA/QSA).
