For our successful and rapidly growing public sector sales team in Germany, we are looking for an ambitious and passionate Key Account Manager/ (Senior) Client Manager (m/w/d) Government & Public Sector / Federal Authorities.

Your tasks will focus on the long-term care of a fixed customer circle in the area of federal authorities and the continuous expansion of these and the strategic preparation, offer management and responsibility for complex framework contract tenders.

Your tasks in detail:

• You are responsible for the strategic marketing of our NTT DATA portfolios, e.g. in the areas of Network, Infrastructure, System Integration, Cyber Security, Unified Collaboration, Data Center & (Multi) Cloud, in coordination with the strategic customers in the environment of federal authorities.
• You develop our existing federal customers as well as the partner network and win new framework contracts for our sales "Bund-Team".
• You are responsible for identifying digitalization projects in the federal government.
• The sale of solution-oriented services and products of leading IT manufacturers (e.g. Cisco, Checkpoint, Palo Alto) is in your responsibility.
• You develop customer-specific solutions together with the specialist departments and present these concepts in the team to the customer.
• The increase of NTT's reputation in the public sector (e.g. through customer events, innovation workshops, trade fairs, congresses).
• Positioning NTT as a reliable consultant and direct contact for a secure, agile and versatile IT landscape and partner of digitalization for the public sector is an important task for you.

What you bring with you:

• A commercial or comparable education or a completed degree with an economic background.
• At least 5-7 years of sales experience in the public sector, ideally in the areas of network solutions, unified communications, data center, IT security or converged collaboration.
• Good contact network in the area of federal authorities and/or the defense environment.
• Experience in the area of public procurement law as well as with public tender procedures.
• Structured approach combined with a very careful, precise and result-oriented way of working.
• Negotiation skills and a high degree of punctuality.
• Willingness to undergo a security check according to SG.
• Secure handling of business economic figures and complex calculations, ideally also secure handling of Salesforce.com.
• Sound and secure MS Office skills.
• Fluent German and good English skills in speech and writing is a must have.
• National and international travel readiness.
