Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster

JCW is recruiting on behalf of a leading property and casualty insurance organization for an experienced Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster to join their team on a temporary contract assignment. This is a fully remote opportunity supporting Workers’ Compensation claims across Indiana and Iowa. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background handling complex Workers’ Compensation claims, including lost-time, indemnity, and litigated claims, and the ability to independently manage claims in a high-volume environment. Key Responsibilities Support the existing claims team with Workers’ Compensation claims across Indiana and Iowa, including lost-time, indemnity, and litigated claims. Conduct timely and thorough investigations, determine compensability, and evaluate claim exposure. Assist with medical bills, indemnity benefits, reserves, payments, return-to-work efforts, and claims resolution. Help manage outstanding claims and reduce the team's current backlog while ensuring timely follow-up, accurate documentation, and responsive communication. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of Workers’ Compensation claims experience, including complex indemnity and lost-time claims. Workers’ Compensation claims experience in Indiana and/or Iowa.
