Senior Quality EngineerLockheed Martin's Missile and Fire Control is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to support the Special Operations Forces Global Logistics Support Services (SOF GLSS) program with a mission to rapidly and properly equip the SOF community with the best possible systems and equipment anywhere in the world. As a Lockheed Martin team member, you will be exposed to engineering, manufacturing and logistics operations in support of military products in a cross-functional environment.Responsibilities include auditing and monitoring of enterprise processes; collaborating with functional team members to ensure quality standards are being implemented; coordinating and participating in Corrective Action Boards; performing quality metrics collection and analysis; and representing the quality organization in providing solutions to technical issues.Basic Qualifications:Functional use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).Ability to interpret Drawings, Specifications, Contracts that will enable development and review of QE Processes, and related Performance Metrics.Knowledge of ISO 9001/ AS9100 requirements with interpretation and application experience.Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision in a fast-paced environment.Desired Skills:Technical Engineering Degree in one of the following disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification.Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
