Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Use computer or tablet technology to support daily responsibilities while contributing to an agile, reliable, innovative, and caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas in accordance with site-specific procedures; maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
• Support a professional, respectful environment while following healthcare privacy practices and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
