We are seeking an experienced Travel Cath Lab Technologist for an assignment in Des Moines, Iowa. The ideal candidate will have strong cardiac catheterization experience, proven scrubbing proficiency, and the ability to float between like units across all Des Moines campuses.

Candidates must have recent travel experience and meet all required experience, certification, and documentation requirements.

Shift & Call Requirements

• Day shift: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, four 10-hour shifts per week.
• Alternative schedule may run 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, with 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, and a rotating weekday off.
• On-call requirement: One night per week at $9/hour.
• Weekend call: Every third weekend, Friday at 7:30 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM.
• Weekend call includes an assigned-case schedule, with cases occurring on rare occasions.
• Holiday requirement: Unless the unit is closed, contractors must work 1–2 of the 3 upcoming winter holidays.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of Cath Lab experience.
• Minimum of 24 months of current Cath Lab/Cardiac Cath Lab experience documented in work history.
• ARRT or RCIS certification.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Scrubbing proficiency.
• Travel experience within the previous 18 months.
• Trauma Level II experience.
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver's license address.

Preferred Qualifications

• Structural heart experience.
• Peripheral vascular experience (highly preferred).
• Trauma Level I experience.
• Interventional Radiology experience.
• Electrophysiology (EP) experience.
