Responsibilities

• Perform water extraction using specialized equipment and ensure thorough drying of affected areas
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for demolition, cleaning, and restoration tasks with precision and safety in mind
• Conduct cleaning services including carpet cleaning, debris removal, and surface sanitation to restore property to its pre-loss condition
• Assist with asbestos abatement procedures when necessary, following safety protocols and industry standards
• Support fire restoration efforts by removing smoke residues and deodorizing affected spaces
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, materials used, and progress updates for each project

Skills

• Proven experience in water damage restoration or related restoration industry roles
• Knowledge of mold remediation techniques and asbestos abatement procedures is a plus
• Familiarity with hand tools such as scrapers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and power tools including drills and saws
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment like extractors and carpet cleaners efficiently
• Strong understanding of construction principles relevant to structural drying and repair processes
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety standards at all times
• Effective communication skills for working with team members and clients alike
