TheCenter AssistantwillsupporttheCoordinatorin all areas of running the local senior citizens center. Assistin the recruitment ofelderly persons for effective participation in Aging Programs Assistin the kitchen areawith inventory and preparation of meals Run meal routes as needed Assistin running weekly programming in the Center Assist the Center Coordinator with documentationtosubmitto the Director of Aging Education High School Diploma or equivalent Experience Experiencein working with people, especially the elderly community or related work, or any equivalent combinationforeducation and/or experienceis a plus.Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
