Direct Support Professional (Group Homes) - Join Our Team and Make a Difference!

About Us: Arc Broward is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of people with developmental disabilities and other life challenges.

Pay: $17.00/hour

Schedule: Full-time, part-time, weekends, and per-diem (substitute) shifts available!

About the Role: Direct Support Professional (Group Homes)

Help amazing people live their best lives.
Work as a team to provide a safe environment.

Assist participants with self-care activities such as toileting and showering.
Identifies crisis situations and implements prevention and intervention procedures.

What are the requirements?

High School Diploma or GED.
Valid FL driver’s license and successful Level II background check, physical and drug screen.
Must complete Professional Crisis Management Training (provided).
Must be at least 21 years of age.
At least one year of experience providing care for people with developmental disabilities.
You’re someone who enjoys working and communicating with others.
