As a Relationship Banker in a Chase Branch, you will represent our brand and culture with the utmost hospitality, using the latest banking solutions and cutting‑edge financial technology combined with friendly and attentive service. You will take a lead role in acquiring, managing, and retaining meaningful relationships with clients, using your financial knowledge to offer thoughtful solutions to help address their financial needs and make their lives easier, contributing to the success of the branch. Job responsibilities Put clients first and exceed their expectations - deliver attentive and friendly service, creating a welcoming environment. Manage assigned clients and proactively meet with them, both in person and over the phone, to build lasting relationships, understand financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations. Engage in clear, polite, consultative communication to understand and help clients, building trust – ask questions and listen to understand, anticipate their needs. Educate and connect clients to technology solutions such as leveraging the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs to help them with their banking needs whenever, wherever, and however they want. Learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately to effectively consult with clients about banking solutions, as well as collaborate with and connect them to our team of experts to help with specialized financial needs. Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or other related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results. Ability to create memorable experiences for our clients – elevate the client experience. Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with proven ability to tailor features and benefits of products and services to clients with differing needs. Ability to quickly and effectively resolve client issues with attention to detail – providing consistent client experience. Operate within established risk parameters/tolerances and meet internal/external risk and compliance obligations, including completion of required training. High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent. The Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements. All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire, study materials and support provided. Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings. Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills College degree or military equivalent. Experience adhering to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act This position is subject to the Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. As such, an employment offer for this position is contingent on JPMC's review of your criminal conviction history, credit report, information available through NMLS, and any other information relevant to a determination by JPMC that you demonstrate financial responsibility, good character, and general fitness for the position. Note that any felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify you from consideration for this position. Your continued employment in this position would be contingent upon compliance with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd Frank Loan Originator requirements. In addition, this position requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008. As such, upon active employment with JPMorganChase, you will be required to either register on NMLS, or to update your existing registration as necessary to grant access to and reflect your employment with JPMorganChase. Your continued employment in this position with JPMorganChase is contingent upon compliance with the SAFE Act, including successful registration immediately after your start date, and timely completion of annual renewal and required updates thereafter. Any information obtained during the registration, update, and renewal processes or through NMLS notifications may impact your employment with the firm.
