Position Overview

Konik is partnering with an electronic device manufacturer. We are seeking a hands-on Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations and lead a team of approximately 30 employees. This role is responsible for production scheduling, workflow optimization, employee development, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has a strong manufacturing leadership background, understands Lean Manufacturing principles, and enjoys improving processes, developing employees, and keeping production running efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage approximately 30 manufacturing employees, including production leads.
• Oversee daily production activities to meet quality, productivity, delivery, and cost goals.
• Develop production schedules based on customer demand, staffing, materials, and available capacity.
• Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, Inventory, and Shipping to maintain efficient production flow.
• Identify bottlenecks, resolve production issues, and improve workflows and manufacturing processes.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing practices to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and increase productivity.
• Establish and monitor production metrics, including throughput, efficiency, quality, and overall performance.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop employees while establishing clear performance expectations and accountability.
• Develop cross-training programs to improve workforce flexibility and coverage.
• Ensure employees follow work instructions, quality procedures, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate material availability and inventory needs to support production schedules.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of manufacturing or production operations experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and workflow management.
• Experience applying Lean Manufacturing principles and driving continuous improvement.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using computers and learning ERP, inventory, and production management systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing or assembly.
• Experience developing production metrics, cross-training programs, and employee development plans.
