Mechanical Engineer

Summary:
- As a Mechanical Engineer II, you will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and components.
- Work Mode: Onsite
- Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and assemblies using CAD software and engineering principles.
- Conduct engineering analyses, simulations, and tests to validate designs, ensure performance, and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure designs meet requirements and specifications.
- Evaluate and select materials, components, and suppliers based on performance, cost, and reliability considerations.
- Participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and problem-solving activities to identify and resolve design challenges and optimization opportunities.
- Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities, including the design and fabrication of test fixtures and prototypes.
- Document design specifications, engineering drawings, test plans, and reports in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering or product design, with a focus on mechanical systems and components.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and engineering analysis tools (e.g., Finite Element Analysis).
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, and materials science.
- Experience with product development processes, including design, prototyping, testing, and validation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and concisely.
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) software and tools.
- Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and requirements applicable to mechanical engineering (e.g., ASME, ISO).
- Experience with mechatronics, robotics, or electromechanical systems.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or product development environment is a plus.
