Operating Room Circulating Nurse

Location: Houston, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 06:30-19:00

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Operating Room Circulating Nurse to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will have experience in an acute care setting and possess the skills necessary to support a variety of surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate patient care in the operating room.
• Assist with various surgical procedures including general surgery, robotics, colorectal surgery, neuro spine, orthopedics, and urology.
• Ensure a safe and sterile environment.
• Collaborate with scrub techs and surgical teams to provide optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of OR Circulating experience in an acute care hospital.
• Varied skill set including cardiothoracic and vascular surgery.
• Preferred experience in Neuro Spine.
• CNOR Certification is a plus.
• BLS certification required.
