The role helps with supervising exercise programs, educating members on proper techniques, and developing personalized fitness plans tailored to individual goals and needs. In addition to offering expert guidance, the Fitness Trainer will actively promote the clubs services and facilities, ensuring a positive experience for all. By consistently delivering the 3-steps of serviceWarm Welcomes, Magic Moments, and Fond Farewellsyou will contribute to a supportive and motivating atmosphere for members and guests./ppReporting Structure/pp Reports to the Fitness Manager or Fitness Director/ppDay-to-Day/pulliAssist in the exercise and fitness areas of the club, including supporting members and guests with their exercise and fitness programs./liliEvaluate member/guest fitness needs and provide the appropriate exercise program for meeting those needs, including providing personal instruction if necessary./liliConduct new Member Fit Start appointments in accordance with club standards and track accordingly. Connect with members regularly and promote fitness activities, including warm welcomes, magic moments, and fond farewells./liliUpdate fitness activities and programming on web page and/or member communication board, as applicable./liliPromote the facility amenities, programs and the club while maintaining a high level of professionalism and service that aligns with the values, philosophies, and standards of the club./liliMaintain current fitness-related certifications including CPR/AED and actively seek new education opportunities that are presented through Invited partnerships./liliEnsure that daily assignments are effectively completed in designated areas to uphold Club standards and maintain orderly and organized workspaces, arranging and tidying entry areas, and properly stocking and organizing equipment and materials./liliResponsible for daily processing of all accounting procedures around personal training and or group session(s) accurately./liliSubmit monthly forecasts for expected sessions, Fit Starts and New Client goals./liliMaintain an up-to-date schedule of availability to ensure accuracy./li/ulpAdditional Duties/pulliDue to the dynamic nature of the club, employees are expected to assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management./liliFollow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions./liliMaintain a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff./liliFollow safe working practices, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and encouraging others to do the same./liliTake the initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications relevant to your role./liliAddress and resolve challenges using available resources, working with regional and corporate teams to support club operations./liliAttend daily briefings and actively engage in required activities to stay informed and contribute to the teams success./li/ulpAbout You/ppRequired/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent./liliA minimum of 1 year of experience as a Fitness Trainer, demonstrating proficiency in developing and leading personalized fitness programs./liliCurrent personal training certifications: ACSM, NASM, ACE, PTA Global, NFPT, ISSA, CSCS or NSCA./liliCertification in CPR, First Aid and AED within the last 6 months as well as being a certified group exercise instructor with AFAA or ACE./li/ulpPreferred/pulliA college degree in health, fitness, exercise science, or a related field./liliStrong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate and motivate clients./liliAbility to assess individual fitness levels and develop tailored exercise programs./li/ulpPhysical Requirements/pulliFrequent sitting, standing, walking, and driving./liliOccasional exposure to temperature changes, dust, fumes, or gases./liliSquatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, and bending./liliAbility to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 lbs. on occasion./liliTalking, hearing, and seeing./li/ulpPrimary Tools/Equipment/pulliStereo equipment/liliFitness Equipment/liliGroup exercise equipment/liliComputer/tablet/li/ulpWork Schedule/pulliAdherence to attendance requirements as outlined in weekly schedule./liliFlexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet position deadlines.
