Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and delivering high-quality surgical support. Assist in circulating and scrubbing during various surgical procedures with proficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and facilitate surgical procedures by circulating and scrubbing as needed.
• Prepare the operating room and sterile equipment for each case.
• Monitor patient vital signs and ensure their comfort throughout surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, including neuro, ortho, vascular, and trauma specialists.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.
• Support coverage during holiday and weekend shifts with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current registration.
• Experience in circulating and scrubbing in the operating room.
• Ability to support neuro, ortho, vascular, and trauma surgeries.
• Strong assessment and patient care skills.
• Demonstrated flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work independently and in team environments.
