About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for External Relations to join their senior team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing the strategic vision and planning of philanthropic initiatives to support the mission and growth of the organization. This includes leading all prospecting and coordination efforts for comprehensive campaigns and overseeing major and principal gift programs to ensure robust donor support. The role involves close collaboration with senior leadership, faculty, clinicians, and prospective donors, and requires a strategic, results-driven leader with expertise in healthcare philanthropy. Candidates for the Associate Vice President position must have a Master's degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years' experience in institutional advancement and fundraising, with a focus on identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding corporations and foundations. Experience in a clinical or medical fundraising setting is essential, and general knowledge of clinical trials is preferred. The role also involves managing a team of event and fundraising professionals, setting goals, and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and writing skills, and a strong commitment to advancing the organization's mission of providing high-quality care to all.
