Job Summary:

Award Care at Big Bend is seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in Perry, FL. As a leading provider of skilled nursing and assisted living services, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional resident experiences that combine clinical excellence with warmth and dignity. Our Occupational Therapist will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve their goals and maintain their independence.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized occupational therapy plans to promote resident independence, functional ability, and quality of life

• Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical and cognitive abilities, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for rehabilitation and wellness

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care

• Provide education and training to residents, family members, and care staff on occupational therapy techniques, adaptive equipment, and assistive technology

• Monitor resident progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes

Requirements:

• Current licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
