Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
Award Care at Big Bend is seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in Perry, FL. As a leading provider of skilled nursing and assisted living services, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional resident experiences that combine clinical excellence with warmth and dignity. Our Occupational Therapist will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve their goals and maintain their independence.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement individualized occupational therapy plans to promote resident independence, functional ability, and quality of life
Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical and cognitive abilities, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for rehabilitation and wellness
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care
Provide education and training to residents, family members, and care staff on occupational therapy techniques, adaptive equipment, and assistive technology
Monitor resident progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes

Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Current licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
