Sterile Processing Technician
We are seeking a qualified Sterile Processing Technician to join our dynamic team. This role entails ensuring the cleanliness and sterility of medical instruments and equipment to meet healthcare standards. The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in sterile processing techniques and a commitment to patient safety.
Responsibilities
- Clean, sterilize, and package surgical instruments and other healthcare equipment.
- Maintain inventory of sterile supplies and instruments.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Assist in quality control and improvement measures.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with a shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Candidates must be available for 40 hours weekly with 32 hours guaranteed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 24 months experience as a Sterile Processing Technician with recent experience in the last 12 months.
- Current CO CAPS and CBSPD certifications.
- Current BLS certification from an AHA, ARC, or ASHI recognized provider.
- No negative reports on state license to practice.
- Valid driver's license required for residency verification.
