Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) with at least 2 years of experience for a 13-week night shift contract at an acute care facility in Missouri.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting in a Respiratory Therapy unit
• Primarily adult patient population with some pediatric patients
• Eligibility to work in labor and delivery may depend on candidate experience
• Uses Servo I ventilators and performs ABG draws and analysis
• EMR: MEDITECH (experience preferred)
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts per week, 1800–0600
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and either CRT or RRT via NBRC (RRT preferred)
• ACLS and NRP certifications preferred
• Experience with ventilator management (Servo I) and ABG draws preferred
• MEDITECH EMR experience preferred
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy services to primarily adult patients, with potential pediatric and labor and delivery responsibilities depending on experience
• No formal orientation hours are included with this assignment
