Base pay range $45.00/hr - $75.00/hr Position: Utility Management Nurse (Insurance Coding & Revenue Management) Type: Hourly contract Compensation: $45–$75 per hour Location: Remote Commitment: Part-time, flexible hours Role Responsibilities Review, audit, and optimize insurance coding practices to ensure compliance and accurate reimbursement outcomes. Analyze existing hospital revenue management workflows and recommend improvements aligned with AI-driven documentation tools. Interpret clinical documentation and translate it into standardized coding formats (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS). Assess coding accuracy against payer policies and documentation guidelines. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve AI-assisted medical coding and documentation workflows. Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare documentation, coding, and privacy standards. Requirements Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent clinical background. Strong experience (3–5+ years) in medical coding, clinical documentation improvement (CDI), or revenue cycle management. CPC, CCS, or CRC certification preferred. Strong experience with hospital billing systems, payer policy interpretation, and coding audit workflows. Strong understanding of clinical documentation standards and reimbursement logic.
