Title: Civil / Mechanical Engineer – Natural Gas
Location: Houston, TX - Remote: Will occasionally meet clients in the Houston metro area
Hire Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay: $48-52/hr
Sterling Engineering is looking for a Civil / Mechanical Engineer to support natural gas projects in the Houston area. This role involves design, reporting, and field observation for utility infrastructure projects.
Job Duties:
Design and develop various natural gas projects.
Perform civil site design and prepare construction plans.
Develop design reports and technical documentation.
Conduct on-site observations as required.
Qualifications:
2–5 years of experience in natural gas or utility engineering projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D and other engineering software such as GasCalc, Pipeline Toolbox, BoreAid, or similar programs.
Ability to work remotely with occasional onsite visits to project offices.
