This is a seasonal/temporary position for the 2026 San Diego County Fair, Del Mar Thoroughbred Club Summer Live Meet. Servers must have 2 years of service experience and have their Food Handlers certification and RBS #. Must be able to attend orientation and training shifts as directed by management. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities**Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.* Responsible for providing timely food and beverage service* Work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment* General knowledge of food and alcohol is required* Proficiency with touch screen POS systems (Toast experience a plus)* Perform other restaurant duties as assigned**Supervisory Responsibilities** N/A**Qualifications**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.**Education and/or Experience*** Two years of food or cocktail service experience**Skills and Abilities*** Must be able to carry a service tray set with up to eight full plates.* Position requires standing, walking and lifting up to 25 pounds.* Must have the ability to work late hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.**Computer Skills**POS system**Other Qualifications**Must be RBS certified by the start of employment. Servers must be a minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcohol.**Compensation**This position's compensation is $16.90 per hour, not including tips.**Physical Demands**The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
