About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its Executive Leadership Team. The CFO will be a key strategic leader, responsible for the organization's financial health, long-term sustainability, and enterprise-wide financial operations. This role involves close partnership with the CEO and other executive leaders to align financial resources with organizational priorities, support affordable housing initiatives, and advance the strategic plan. The CFO will lead all financial aspects, including accounting, budgeting, financial planning, audit, compliance, and risk management, and will provide data-driven financial leadership to support decision-making and the mission to end homelessness. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree and CPA preferred. A minimum of 10 years' of executive financial leadership experience, including at least 5 years' in a senior finance role within a nonprofit organization, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nonprofit financial management, fund accounting, and experience with affordable housing or community development. Key responsibilities include executive leadership, strategic planning, financial strategy, and organizational sustainability. The CFO will also be involved in budgeting, resource allocation, cash flow management, and will lead a team to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement in financial processes. Strong communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills are essential, as is a proven track record in team development and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
