Job Summary Fort Washington Medical Center seeks an experienced Unit Support Coordinator for our Emergency Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. Responsibilities Support departmental operations by providing effective and timely communications, maintaining a clean, safe and orderly work environment, maintaining data and related records, and performing clerical and other support services as directed. Responsible for processing physician orders, communication, and other general duties. Qualifications High school diploma / GED. At least 6 months experience working in a hospital or doctor’s office. Basic knowledge of medical terminology. Proficient in PC, Internet, and email. Strong communication and organizational skills. Training in data entry of clinical systems preferred. Schedule & Pay Employment Type: Full Time Hours per Week: 36 hrs per week Shift Type: Night Shift Differential Eligible: Yes Pay Range: $18.80 - $24.18 per hour. Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as: United States of America (Non-Exempt).
