Licensed Practical NurseThe Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing professional nursing care to care center patients under supervision of Physicians and patient Clinical Services Manager.Advocare is a partnership of the top doctors in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware, including pediatricians, family practice doctors and multiple types of specialists, each of whom has strong bonds to the families, adults, children, and communities they serve. As part of the team, you'll work side-by-side with forward-thinking professionals who strive to provide the highest quality medical care by meeting and exceeding standards for clinical outcomes while delivering exceptional patient service in an evolving healthcare environment.Essential Functions:Provides general nursing care to patients.Maintains exam rooms for necessary supplies and materials. Prepares list of medical supplies needed.Ensures cleanliness.Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatment, examination, and testing of patients.Observes, records and reports patient's condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to physicians.Educates patient & family about diagnostic procedures, medications, nutrition and maintenance of health and wellness.Ensures appointment preferences are given to patients in emergency situations. Greets patients and prepares them for physician examination. Screens patients for appropriation information. Instructs patients in collection of samples and tests.Maintains/reviews patient records, charts, and other pertinent information. Posts tests and examination results.Responds to/refers incoming patient treatment-related phone calls.
