As an Experienced Tax Staff , you will work with a team to provide quality tax services to clients in various industries, including manufacturing, oil and gas, insurance, health care, wholesale/distribution, financial institution, governmental and nonprofit companies. What You’ll Do Prepare with Purpose. Accurately prepare federal and state tax returns for business and individual clients, applying core tax rules and concepts with confidence. Think Beyond the Form. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college or university Compliance with the 150‑hour rule and/or CPA certification preferred or in progress 1‑2 years of public accounting experience in a tax role Strong technical, research, organizational, and analytical skills with an eye for detail Familiarity with paperless accounting systems and comfort working in a digital‑first environment Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and other essential business applications Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a client‑focused mindset Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced setting Why HoganTaylor?
