Surgery - Trauma Physician

General/Trauma Surgery Locums Job in Georgia

Pay rate structure: $3,600 per 12 hour night shift from 7pm-7am (not required to be in-house)

Coverage need: 10-15 shifts per month starting in September (depending on credentialing) covering night Trauma/General Surgery coverage. Potential for 24-hour weekend call as well.

Details/Requirements for Assignment :
- Coverage request: 7PM-7AM night shifts (not required to be in-house)
- Patients would be turned over to the daytime team at end of shift
- Must have an active Georgia license or LOQ from the IMLC
- Must have Board Certification in General Surgery/Trauma Surgery
- Hospital is a level II trauma facility
- All primary call, would have trauma backup from their team
- EMR is EPIC
- Privileging process is extensive and there are several required online modules/trainings to be completed in order to comply with their process
- 1-2 surgeries per night and 4-5 consults/admissions per night
- APP support is available occasionally, not guaranteed for all shifts
- Upper and lower scopes are not required
