Bus Monitor
Work year is consistent with the North Branford Schools' calendar. Additional opportunities may be available during the summer. Salary: $16.35/Hour.
Assist the bus driver in maintaining discipline on school bus. Monitor and assist students while bus is in motion. Ensure that seat belts, harnesses, child seats and wheelchair restraints are secured as required. Assist parents and school personnel with safe loading and unloading of students, coordinate seating of students as required by CT Transportation Guidelines and additional state or district guidelines, health and safety regulations as required. Communicate with school personnel concerning student needs, medical history and behavior as appropriate. Maintain current knowledge of Emergency Evacuation procedures. Attend training as required. Maintain regular attendance. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience with school-aged children.
