Patient Care Assistant I

Role Overview: The Patient Care Assistant (PCA) I supports patient care by ensuring comfort and safety while collaborating with healthcare teams, patients, and families. All duties are delegated by a Registered Nurse in accordance with Ohio Board of Nursing guidelines.

Responsibilities: Perform clinical tasks, maintain patient confidentiality, promote safety, provide comfort and hygiene, and assist with patient and family orientation and communication.
Leadership & Accountability: Demonstrate effective communication, teamwork, adaptability, and personal responsibility.
Qualifications: High School Diploma required, with 0-1 years of experience preferred. Must hold AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification.
