AMARO BALDWIN LLP is a civil defense firm located in down town Long Beach, that specializes in Insurance Defense which includes; General Liability, Personal Injury, Products Liability, Workers’ Compensation, Employment Defense, and Transportation Matters.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role located in Long Beach, CA, with the opportunity for partial remote work. As an Associate Attorney specializing in Civil Litigation and General Liability, you will handle legal matters, including drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, and preparing motions. Your responsibilities will include providing legal advice to clients, engaging in labor and employment law cases, conducting negotiations, and advocating for clients in court or mediation settings. You will also collaborate with team members and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Law, with specific expertise in Civil Litigation and Labor and Employment Law
- Proficiency in providing Legal Advice to clients and conducting thorough legal Research
- Skilled in Negotiation and achieving favorable outcomes
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Active membership and good standing with the California State Bar
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with general liability cases is a plus
