Clinical Medical Geneticist Location: New Brunswick, New Jersey Department: Medical Genetics and Genomic Medicine, Saint Peter's University Hospital Position Summary: The department seeks a full‑time Clinical Geneticist who will provide inpatient and outpatient clinical services, mentor trainees, and participate in teaching and clinical research. Responsibilities Assure comprehensive genetic evaluation and management of patients and families. Deliver patient counseling and educational sessions. Supervise residents and genetic counseling students during clinical rotations. Contribute to multidisciplinary case discussions and management plans. Participate in clinical research trials and gene‑therapy studies. Develop educational materials for graduate and post‑graduate education. Requirements M.D./D.O. degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Clinical Genetics (and Genomics); Board Certified/Eligible in Pediatrics or Internal Medicine and/or Medical Biochemical Genetics desirable but not required. Current New Jersey Medical License or ability to obtain one.
