What You'll Do

As a BHT/RBT, you will provide individualized 1:1 behavioral health services under the direction and supervision of our clinical team.

Required:

  • Implementing individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment plans
  • Working directly with children and adolescents ages 2–21
  • Helping clients develop social, communication, life and adaptive skills
  • Supporting clients in reaching their individualized treatment goals
  • Providing services in homes, schools, daycares and community settings
  • Collecting accurate behavioral and treatment data
  • Building positive relationships with clients and their families
  • Helping clients transfer newly learned skills into everyday situations
  • Completing required daily documentation and weekly reporting
  • Collaborating with Behavior Consultants and other members of the clinical team
  • Participating in ongoing training and supervision to continuously strengthen your skills

Education & Experience Required:

Bachelor's Degree:

A bachelor's-level degree in a service-related field plus at least 1 year of full-time paid experience involving direct contact with children or adolescents.

Associate's Degree / College Credits:

An associate-level degree or 60 credits toward a bachelor's degree, plus 1 year of full-time paid experience involving direct contact with children or adolescents.

High School Diploma / Equivalent:

A high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a 40-hour RBT Task List training provided by a qualified BCBA or BC-ABA trainer, and 1 year of full-time paid experience involving direct contact with children or adolescents.

  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Staff must have appropriate background checks, transcripts of their degree, and clearances to work in direct contact with children and adolescents (ACT 33, 34 and FBI clearances) and be able to participate in Medicaid and Medicare programs. Must also complete the NSOR (National Sex Offender Registry) Verification, as well as an active Mandated Reporting Certificate (Act 31).
