Validation Lab Technician

Job Overview As a Validation Lab Technician , reporting to the Head of AC Testing – NA, you will be responsible for conducting performance and durability testing of automotive HVAC and engine cooling components. Duties include installing and removing test parts, setting up instrumentation, running tests, collecting data, and interpreting results. You will work closely with engineers to understand test requirements and support cross‑training across test lab areas. Responsibilities Set up HVAC systems and components for testing Install instrumentation for temperature, pressure, flow Interface with test systems Execute testing procedures Interpret test data and report issues Troubleshoot and repair test equipment Maintain a clean work area No supervisory responsibilities Qualifications AAS in Automotive/Mechanical/Electrical or equivalent 3–5 years automotive experience preferred ASE certification preferred EPA 608 certification preferred Strong mechanical aptitude Proficient in MS Office Fluent in English, strong written and verbal skills Apply high school math concepts Problem solving and data analysis skills Benefits and Development We provide a collaborative environment, ongoing personal and career development opportunities, and a chance to work on exciting assignments.
