This entry‑level Cloud ISSO assists in maintaining the security posture of cloud and hybrid systems by supporting RMF documentation, vulnerability reviews, cloud security assessments, and compliance tracking. The Junior Cloud ISSO works closely with senior ISSOs, cloud engineers, and program teams to support ATO packages, continuous monitoring, and audit preparation aligned with federal cloud security standards. Your future duties and responsibilities • Assist in preparing RMF documentation for cloud systems (SSPs, CMPs, IRPs, ISCPs). • Support reviews of cloud vulnerability findings (ACAS, SCAP, cloud-native tools). • Help maintain POA&Ms and track remediation progress. • Participate in continuous monitoring activities for AWS/Azure environments. • Provide basic support during internal and external audits. • Assist with cloud configuration reviews based on STIGs, CIS Benchmarks, and agency guidance. • Support maintenance of cloud security documentation libraries. • Coordinate with Cloud/DevOps teams to collect evidence and update security artifacts. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field. • 1+ year of IT or cybersecurity experience. • Active Top Secret (TS) clearance. • Foundational understanding of RMF, cloud security concepts, and vulnerability management. • Ability to assist in security documentation and communicate clearly. Preferred Certifications • Security+ CE • CC (ISC2) • Cloud+ or AWS/Azure Fundamentals (AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure AZ‑900) • ITIL (optional) Technical Familiarity • Basic exposure to AWS or Azure services • STIG Viewer / SCAP tools • ACAS or cloud‑native scanning tools • Git/Azure DevOps for documentation management Due to the nature of this government contract, US Citizenship is required. #CGIFederalJob #LI-DD1 Together, as owners, let’s turn meaningful insights into action.
