About the Role

$65,000 to start

Overall yearly Pay Structure: $65,000-115,000 with Bonuses + quarterly production reviews

Black Door Renovations STL is seeking a disciplined, high-energy Production Manager to oversee our exterior remodeling projects. You are the heartbeat of our operations. Once a contract is signed, it’s your job to get the right materials to the site, the right crew on the roof, and ensure the project is completed to our company standard of excellence, completing follow up and review with Clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Crew Management: Schedule and supervise multiple subcontracted crews; ensure they arrive on time, follow safety protocols, and maintain a clean job site.
• Material Logistics: Review material take-offs and coordinate deliveries with suppliers to ensure everything is on-site before the crew arrives.
• Quality Assurance: Perform mid-project and final "punch-list" inspections to ensure the work meets manufacturer specifications and local building codes.
• Project Communication: Act as the technical point of contact for homeowners and Install crews during construction, addressing concerns and providing daily updates.
• Profitability Tracking: Monitor job costs and waste to ensure projects stay within budget.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce strict OSHA safety standards across all job sites.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in exterior construction (Roofing, Siding, Gutters). At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of residential roofing systems (asphalt shingle, metal, etc.) and siding installation.
• Problem Solver: Ability to handle "on-the-fly" issues, such as discovering rotten decking or dealing with delivery delays.
• Physicality: Must be able to climb ladders and navigate roofs for quality inspections.
• Software: Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, Leap, Acculynx, or similar) and EagleView/Hover reports.
• Language:  bilingual speech is a major bonus in gaining this position with Pay increase.
