Role Overview The Medication Aide/Med Tech is responsible for administering medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity to residents in a senior living environment. Key duties include following physician orders, adhering to the Six Rights of Medication Administration, documenting in MAR/TAR accurately and promptly, observing residents during and after medication passes, monitoring symptoms, and reporting concerns or refusals. Additionally, they maintain organized medication carts, follow infection control standards, and ensure regulatory compliance to safeguard resident safety.
