This position is located at our Astria Sunnyside Hospital in our Family Birthing Center. Shift: 12 hour Mid shifts, More information will be provided. What you get to do every day! Provides information, guidance, and hands‑on clinical care to pregnant women and their newborns. Uses appropriate equipment to monitor vital signs, fetal heart rate, and uterine activity during labor and delivery. Administers medications related to labor, delivery, and the care of newborns. Provides guidance to new mothers on all aspects of recovery and newborn care. Performs tests necessary in the care of the newborn. Performs other duties as assigned, Collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries, Adheres to the core values and standards of the organization. Requirements Graduate from an accredited nursing program. Current RN Washington State License At least 1 year experience in Labor & Delivery and/or Postpartum Care. Current BLS, ALS, and NRP certification. Fetal Monitoring and STABLE certifications required within 6 months of hire. Oral and written fluency in the English language. This position is identified as a safety‑sensitive position for which impairment while on the job would present a substantial risk of death.
